North Cascades National Park contacted the Department of the Interior's Harpers Ferry Center to get a new entrance sign. North Cascades National Park wanted to something art to their sign to hint at the majestic mountain view visitors could expect to soon be enjoying. The sign had to also follow years of the National Park System's strict grid usage.
